This little cutie lives in Corrales and mom and dad just finished remodeling their gorgeous home. While I was standing in the gorgeous remodeled kitchen, I noticed that mom had a huge thing of vinegar on the counter. So I asked "do you use vinegar to clean your house?" (Since my oldest has asthma, I'm a nut about all natural cleaners and I clean my house with vinegar, vodka (yes, vodka), and Dr. Bronner's.) She said "Yeah, and I put it in the dishwasher." Say what? Dishwasher? Yes - the dishwasher. I've been doing it ever since and my dishes are noticeably cleaner and with less spots...and no chemicals! Just use your normal detergent (I like Seventh Generation or Trader Joe’s) and then pour some vinegar into the bottom of your dishwasher and run.

My oldest auditioned for the school play today and he got a part!!!! He's so excited. My hubby was tucking him in tonight and telling him how proud we are of him, and he said "I'm proud of myself too" as he was closing his eyes. So I figure since he's practically a star already, he obviously needs a headshot! ;o) |

Welcome to my new blog! |

Like most photographers, I haven't been blogging much in January and February because to be honest most of us need time to recuperate from the busy fall/holiday season. For me this time of year is all about recuperating and getting re-inspired for the year ahead. And let me tell you, I am inspired! I can't wait for this year and I've had ideas swirling in my head for the last month and a half. There's some new things I'm going to be doing this year including for the first time ever MINI-SESSIONS(!!) and some studio sessions (stay tuned for details - if this is something you're interested in, let me know, it'll motivate me to get it ready faster!)
